Survey reveals 44 per cent of corporate XP users considering rival to avoid Vista problems
As
many as 44 per cent of corporate Windows XP users are considering
migrating to Linux or Apple-based systems to avoid Vista, a survey by
systems management company KACE has revealed.
On top of that, 90
per cent of those questioned said that they are concerned about
migrating to Vista. Only 13 per cent said that they can see themselves
moving all of their systems on to Vista.
However, it may not be all bad news for Microsoft, as 89 per cent of
those who said that they were considering alternative operating systems
said that they would consider running software designed to help manage
several different operating systems under one interface, suggesting
that it may only be Vista that is causing businesses, and Microsoft,
headaches.
